Reassurance Call Program
Reassurance calls are available to any Martinsville City, Henry, Franklin or Patrick County resident. Our Crisis Line Specialists make daily scheduled calls to our Reassurance Clients to provide:
- Friendly, social contact
 - Safety checks
A daily call from a CONTACT volunteer can:
- Increase confidence, to ease the fear of being alone during illness or injury
- Increase physical safety
- Provide social interaction
- Give peace of mind to clients and their families
- Increase self-sufficiency
- Delay or eliminate the need for group home, assisted living, or nursing home care
- Provide therapeutic listening to ease depression
- Help connect you with other needed human services
